When people get automobile collision coverage, they generally think about when they get into an accident with another car. However, collision insurance also covers those small dents and scrapes you get if your car is the only one damaged.

Many people don’t want to get smaller automobile repairs done because they are afraid of the costs. However your car insurance will cover you even if you hit a pole, a fence, a mailbox or a wall. Making A Claim

After getting into a collision, the best thing to do is to determine the damage and check to see if anybody is injured. Next, you should phone Dial-a-Claim. They will assign you an adjuster, who will work to determine what happened and help you fill out the paperwork.

You should also keep in mind that it is cheaper to have a windshield repaired instead of replaced. This type of job might be best to pay out of your own pocket rather than go through ICBC. If you slam your car into a wall, however, it will be more cost effective to make a claim through ICBC.
