Q: Do you have Courtesy Cars?

Yes we do! As an accredited ICBC shop, we are required to have cars no older than 5 years.

Q: Do I pay my deductible now, or after the car is finished?

You pay your deductible when your car is ready to pick up.

Q: How long will the repairs to my vehicle take?

This is dependent on how badly your vehicle is damaged. Once the estimate has been completed on your vehicle we will be able to give you a fairly accurate time that it will take to complete all the repairs to your vehicle.

Q: Are all the repairs to my car guaranteed?

All the work performed on your vehicle comes with a written lifetime warranty on all body and paint work completed.

Q: What are your operating hours?

We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

Q: Do you handle private insurance claims?

Yes, we are set to up handle all private insurance claims, from within BC, and private insurance claims from out of province.

Q: What are the requirements for getting a Courtesy Car?

You must be 19 years or older, and have a valid BC driver's license. You will also require a credit card for security purposes, however nothing is applied to your credit card.

Q: Is there any charge to me to get a Courtesy Car?

No, you only pay for the fuel you use while driving the Courtesy Car. Courtesy Cars are to be returned with the same amount of fuel in them when the car was given to you.

Q: Do I need to make an appointment to have an estimate done on my vehicle?

Q: How long will it take to complete the estimate on my car?

It only takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete the inspection and to print off an estimate detailing the repairs required to fully restore your vehicle.

Prancing Horse Autobody is one of the few body shops in Victoria that has achieved Gold Class certification that provides each of our people involved in the collision repair process - Estimator, Refinish Technician, Structural Technician, Non-Structural Technician - the up-to-date knowledge and skills they need to repair your car to pre-accident condition. Gold Class shops stay up-to-date by training their staff annually which can be a contributing factor in performing complete, safe and quality repairs. Ongoing training and testing keeps repair technicians up-to-date on the latest vehicle models, technologies and repair methods. Shops that lapse in their training, even for a year, lose their Gold Class status.
